𝔐𝔦𝔰𝔰 ℌ𝔞𝔰𝔞𝔯𝔞

Born two days after the Summer Solstice, Laurel Elizabeth Hasara is an arthouse-horror screenwriter, poetic novelist and dark visual artist. Her debut feature film, A Grim Descendant, is a modernized origin story of the mythological figure, The Grim Reaper while her debut novella,The Nobodies: An Unusual Tale of Society’s Least Desirable released in 2021. With a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature acquired at St. Mary's College of Maryland, her current academic focus is concentrated in the study of esoteric Catholic theology. Her debut short film is entitled The Dark Night of Her Soul, a Gothic retelling of St. John of the Cross’s spiritual crisis. Miss Hasara’s overarching artistic goal is to make her life into a living art piece through various literary and visual forms; exquisite nightmares that claw into your subconscious.
